Sparks flew for Sam & Christian on their wedding day, our truly electric couple! Their wedding photography and videography showcases their venue, the stunning Sant Ffraed House. This dynamic pair were ready for a day of big contrasts in their photos and videos—what with it being a stylish black tie affair, with the elegant backdrop of a classic car, leading on to an electrifying night on the dance floor!
We set out to capture their grace and their wild side in perfect harmony. Our team were amped up and ready to craft our signature wedding videography and photography. Our aim was to leave our thunderstruck couple aglow with memories they’d cherish together for a lifetime.
THE NEWLYWEDS
When Sam needed help with her electrics and reached out to Christian, lightning struck the two of them and only 5 days later were they out for their first date! The glamour of a romantic meal in the midst of wild weather couldn’t have better set the tone for their tale together, and their glamorous wedding films and photos are the perfect example. On their first holiday together in sunny Mexico, Christian shocked Sam with a proposal. Then, four years later, the elements came together as our electric couple summoned Fire & Ice to capture what would be a day to shake the earth.

Looming over rolling Welsh fields, the early 19th-century Sant Ffraed House was a graceful setting for wedding photography and videography. The contrast of the natural landscapes surrounds the modern renovated wedding venue. This definitely gave our photographers and cinematographers an array of ideas when it came to capturing Sam & Christian’s wedding day!

In the spirit of a Sant Ffraed tradition, Sam & Christian were given a shot of Tequila Rose before their entrance. This made for an epic moment to capture on camera!

Classical grace and beauty underscore every frame of their photography, poised by a classic Porsche in perfectly tailored attire, only to lead into the wildest of nights on the dancefloor, with every fast and pulsing cut of their wedding cinematography capturing the magnetism of the night.
The bridal party’s black and white theming gave our expert team a classical, old-fashioned groundwork to build from – delivering inspired grayscale imagery was a vision for this shoot from the start, and the use of the Rotolight AEOS 2 Pro lighting meant that every shot was still drenched with enhancing light, removing the need for colour to give the beautiful couple and their groomsmen & bridesmaids every flicker of definition, masterfully framing them in epic group shots that buzz with sophistication.

Our Big Red photo kit is a must for our wedding photography. It’s made up of the Sony A7Riii partnered with 35mm and 105mm lenses, ready to capture every detail! For video, we used our signature Frostbite kit. The Sony A7Siii enhanced with the 85mm 1.4 GM lens, and partnered with the powerful DJI Inspire 2 drone. To add to the natural fog-settled scenery, we used subtle grey EG TP40 Smoke Bombs. This created a thick mist effect, resulting in dramatic shots for Sam & Christian’s couples shoot.
