A Neutral Wedding Colour Palette
The right wedding colour scheme can be the difference between good and GREAT photography and videography. Our bride and her bridal party were ready to make this Croatia wedding photography and videography perfect! The bride and bridesmaids dresses were a ‘caffè latte’ assembly; neutral and tender brown tones. Simple but styled, understated but outrageously elegant, it appeared luxury in every frame our destination photographers and videographers captured.
The Best Wedding Photography and Videography Venue
Our couple prepared in the Dubrovnik President Valamar Hotel, a luxury seaside resort on the Northern side of the city. First, we split our team and captured detailed, classy prep shots for both the bride and groom. Then on to an emotional first look between the bride and her bridal party! Before long, we were ready to capture the wedding ceremony in all its glory.
A Perfect Destination Wedding Location
On Croatia’s south coast, neighbouring the Adriatic Sea, stands a pillar of Dubrovnik’s vibrant past; over 500 years old, Sponza Palace bears gothic and renaissance influences, survived a 6.4 magnitude earthquake in the 1600’s, and was used as a trading centre in its heyday. The venue aptly served as a perfect palace for our regal couple’s luxury occasion, and gave our excited team of wedding photographers and videographers a depth of choices for Croatia wedding photography and videography to define this darling duo’s divine day.
In Sponza Palace, our fairytale duo tied the knot surrounded by their nearest and dearest. With the perfect rings handed down from their grandparents, a venue right out of Game of Thrones, and divine decoration to set the scene, every magical moment was inspirational for our photographers and videographers to capture.
Photography and Videography for a Luxury Wedding Day
After the ceremony we took our newlyweds for a couples’ photography and videography shoot. Using Sponza Palace’s beautiful aged interior, along with the floral wreath decor, the shots were epic!
To give you a bit of background on our perfect couple; Sophie and Macauley met online and went for a drinks in town as their first date. It was clear to them both straight away that they shared something special. Before long, this divine pair were jet-setting to their new home in The Channel Islands, where our glamorous groom eventually proposed in a scenic vineyard. Wine connoisseurs and foodies still, the duo share a love for exploring new flavours, as well as cheering for their favourite rugby teams!

Koločep Island, a hidden gem in Croatia’s Elaphiti archipelago, offers an idyllic setting for destination weddings! With its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush Mediterranean landscapes, Koločep provides a romantic and intimate backdrop perfect for wedding photography. As one of the few car-free islands, it ensures a serene and picturesque environment, ideal for capturing breathtaking wedding photos.

SO you guessed it… The glamour didn’t stop at Sponza Palace for Sophie & Macauley! Our divine duo and all their guests cheered from Sponza Palace, all through Old Town and down to the docks. One of Dubrovnik’s iconic Karaka ships, the Gospe Od Karmena, was docked for boarding, to everyone’s surprise! Our newlyweds sailed their entire wedding party to the luxury island of Koločep for an exclusive party at Villa Rose.
Divine drinks flowed, fairy lights twinkled and the music played loud as the guests danced the night away. At the end of the night, as the sun crashed down over the horizon, we whisked our darling pair away for one last wedding photography and videography session. We captured the last few minutes of a divine red sunset… Crashing waves against the dock of Koločep marked the end of Sophie & Macauley’s stunning Croatian wedding day.
